Thaumcraft Mod 1.18.2/1.18/1.17.1/1.15.2 adds magical arcane blocks to your world. It is basically a way to use magic in Minecraft and perfoms miracles using the essence in the objects. The last version (6) is created by Azanor.

Thaumcraft Mod Features

This is one of the most interesting mods of Minecraft. It has different versions. The newest one of all is Thaumcraft 6. This has different stages and steps that you will have to follow to keep advancing in the mod.

In each stage you will have different features:

Observation: fundamentals
Thaumometer: that will give you the recipes
Knowledge totals

Like previous versions of Thaumcraft “vis” is a measure of the magical energy currently available in the chunk.

How to get started in Thaumcraft Mod

The first thing you have to do is finding crystals. There are six types: aer, terra, ignis, aqua, ordo and perdition. Once you have found at least one of each type take a map. With these crystals you are going to create the Salis Mundus.

The Salis Mundus can be sprinkled onto a crafting table. Once you do this, you will create a Thaumonomicon. This will be your guide in Thaumcraft.

You will receive a book titled “Strange Dreams” that is a guide that will tell you what you have to do to keep going on this Thaumcraft mod.

Through the mod you are going to create several things like the thaumometer.

Thaumcraft 6 Mod World Generation

Its flora is:

Greatwood trees

They are very tall and have clumps of leaves.

Silverwood trees

They are known by their light blue leaves and white logs. They can be found in the Magical Forest and other biomes except from Tundra and Dessert.

Shimmerleaf

It can be converted into quicksilver.

Cinderpearl

It is a flower that gives a small glow. It can be transformed into blaze powder.

Vishroom

They can be found in magical forests

Its ores are:

Air crystal
Fire crystal
Earth crystal
Water crystal
Order crystal
Entropy crystal
Flux crystal
Amber bearing stone

It can be found deep underground or in mountains.

Cinnabar ore

It can be found deep underground or in mountains.

Quartz ore

Its biomes are:

Eerie biome
Magical forest

This mod adds a new biome to Minecraft’s world. It is all green. Here is where you will find vishrooms, greatwood trees and silverwood trees. You will also find creatures called pechs that are very friendly and will pick up items that you have dropped.

Its primal aspects are:

Aer
Terra
Ignis
Aqua
Ordo
Perditio

They can generate different items useful in this game.

How to install Thaumcraft Mod 1.18.2/1.18/1.17.1

This mod requires to have installed Minecraft Forge. If you don’t have it you may want to download it and install it.
Download the recommended file to your Minecraft version
After this, you have to locate the Minecraft Application folder. You can find it in your Windows or Mac computer.
Place the Mod (.jar file) into the Mods folder
Open Minecraft and click the Mods button.
